• TMC series vertical machining centers are available in an assortment of sizes and configurations designed to meet any requirement. All TMC series machining centers feature excellent cutting performance, high accuracy, versatility and reliability, as well as high-speed production. The TMC-4VK is the middle size of the table traverse vertical machining center.Providing the power and speed needed for general purpose, as well as aluminum machining, it has an 8,000 RPM spindle speed, a 40 taper shank, a 10 horsepower spindle, plus X and Y axes feed rates of 1,260 inch per minute and Z axes feed rates of 945 inch per minute maximum.

• The NTC TMC-4VK CNC Vertical Machining Center is evidence of Nippei Toyama's continuing development of outstanding machining centers. The TMC-4VK incorporates some of the most advanced engineering features and innovations available today. It is equipped with a 10 HP spindle drive motor, 8,000 RPM, a 21-position automatic tool changer with twin arms, and the user-friendly CNC Fanuc 21iMB control. The combination of these features produces the most efficient and convenient vertical machining center available for milling, boring, drilling and tapping. The TMC-4VK has high rigidity with theinclusion of linear guide ways for all-purpose machining.

• Standard TMC-4VK configuration: 21 tools, three axes control with X=22.4" x Y=16.5" x Z=18.1" working envelope, large table size 31.5" x 17.7". 8,000 RPM spindle speed, and max. tool diameter 3.1" available.

• A 21-sation, automatic tool changer allows fixed address to tools 10.6" long and weighing 15.4 pounds. Tools 3.1" in diameter can be handled with adjacent tools. The #40 machine taper shank is available to CAT/BT. The carousel is mounted with the tool change mechanism residing away from the working envelope. This design eliminates tool and workpiece interference, as well as the negative effects of exposure to chips and coolant contact. Approximate tool change time (tool-to-tool) is 1.5 seconds (chip-to-chip 5.5 seconds).
