• The NTC N4V CNC Vertical Machining Center is evidence of NTC's continuing development of outstanding machining centers. The N4V incorporates some of the most advanced engineering features and innovations available today. It is equipped with a 15 HP main spindle drive motor, maximum12,000 RPM spindle speed, 2- position automatic tool changer and rotary type automatic work changer (AWC) as standard. A combination of these features produces the most efficient and convenient vertical machining center available for high performance milling, boring, drilling and tapping.

• Standard N4V configuration: CAT/BT 40 taper tool shank, spindle power 15 HP, 12,000rpm spindle maximum speed, 25 tool ATC, rotary AWC, three axes travel with X 19.7" x Y 17.7" x Z 17.7" machining range.

• The automatic tool changer, with a 25-station magazine, allows fixed address to tools a maximumof 9.8" long and 11 pounds. Tools 7.8" in diameter might be handled if the adjacent pockets are empty. (Maxmum tool diameter 3.1" with adjacent tools) The ATC magazine is mounted closely to the machining area to realize fast tool changes (tool-to-tool 1.8 sec.). Designed to eliminate tool and workpiece interference and to reduce chip and coolant contamination using ATC shutter. The tool change time is 4.5 seconds as chip-to-chip.

• The X, Y and Z axes are separated and protected from chips and coolant. The X axis drive motor is 4 HP and Y axis and Z axis drive motors are 5.3 HP. All 3 axes rapid traverse rates are 1,575" per min. and cutting feed rates are 394" per min.
