• The NTC N3V 2 CNC Vertical Machining Center is evidence of NTC's continuing development of outstanding machining centers. The N3V 2 incorporates some of the most advanced engineering features and innovations available today. It is equipped with a 5 HP main spindle drive motor, maximum 15,000 RPM spindle speed, a 16-position automatic tool changer and a rotary type automatic work changer (AWC) as standard. A combination of these features produces the most efficient and convenient vertical machining center available for high performance milling, boring, drilling and tapping. Standard N3V 2 configuration: BT 30 taper tool shank, spindle power 5HP, 15,000rpm spindle maximum speed, 16 tool ATC, rotary AWC, three axes travel with X 19.7" x Y 13.7" x Z 13.7" machining range.

• The automatic tool changer, with a 16-station magazine, allows fixed address to tools a maximum of 7.8" long and 4.4 pounds. Tools 3.1" in diameter can be handled. The ATC magazine is mounted closely to machining area due to ATC armless to realize fast tool changes (tool-to-tool 1.5 sec.). Designed to eliminate tool and workpiece interference and to reduce chip and coolant contamination using ATC shutter. The tool change time is 3.0 seconds as chip-to-chip.

• The X, Y and Z axes are protected from chips and coolant is separated from the machining area. The X & Y axes drive motors are 4 HP and the Z axis drive motor is 5.3HP. All 3 axes rapid traverse rate is 2,362" per min. and cutting feed rate is 394" per min.
